Got the results from my annual physical. I'm in great health. My Cholesterol (total) is 177. HDL - 53; LDL - 102; Triglycerides - 108. All this because I have cut out dairy in my diet.
(Last year my numbers were Cholesteral (total) 190; HDL 57; LDL 115; and Triglycerides - 90.)
Can we have a "Way to go"?

Way to go!
Did your doctor talk to you about bringing your HDL up?
No. I'll be in to see her assistant tomorrow re:sinus gunk. I'll see if this is a priority.
Way to go!
After a 16 weeks of nutrition class cram up into 5 five weeks, I can tell you that as per the American Heart Association (AHA) suggest that women keep their HDL level above 50 mg/dl. Yours is at 57 so its good just don’t let it get to high. Let me know if the doctor (or the assistant) tells you any different.
You were right. My MD said that the drop of 3 points in HDL was nothing to be alarmed with. Especially since total cholesteral is at a very respectible 177.
