President's day

This has been a week. Last Monday Jerry had elective prostrate surgery and was hospitalized for three days. Came home with a cathater in and was improving until Sunday evening when he started clotting and plugging the tube. One trip to the ER and the cath was cleared. Back home, into bed for two hours, and it plugged again. Back to the ER at 1 AM. This time they kept him over night and have been keeping an eye on him. I feel a bit responsible because I encouraged him to get his prostrate pared down. He is a healthy man so should have come through this with flying colors. We will find out more later.

In the mean time, I really need to concentrate on the Church's auction. I just have not been enthused about it this year. Luckily the members of the team I have worked with for the past three years are enthused so they are carrying more of the stress this year. I always worry that we won't have great stuff and then that if we do we won't have anyone there that will bid on it.

One of the lower level units is going up for sale. I am putting a bid in on it. It is 100 sq ft smaller than this one so my built ins in the sewing room will have to be remodeled (cut 8" off) and the China Cabinet my mother bought me will have to go. Anyone want it?

Must get moving.
